I like how Huston Smith put it..........other people are in the balloon of their mind and intellect, and they just see the inner surface of their intellect, or mind. In enlightenment, you look down upon the mind from a higher perspective, and the intellect indeed appears to be a body of sorts. The time bound intellect is a tool for when you have mind on matter, and believe matter and time is so real. A freed man has his attention fixated upon the omnipresent light which is independent of mind and matter The mind is like a sheath that is surrounds the physical body. It's God is the body, and it needs a body to survive. At root, all of its philosophy, science and religion has to do with extending the life of the body. I know this is simplistic, but a useful analogy.
It's not that it bothers me that I was Augustine. I just don't know if I should feel good bout using that name. Claiming you were someone else seems always to be somewhat schizophrenic. There is no power in a name, but my entity-name, or soul name could very well be Augustine. But it could be Andy Nelson, too! Let's not forget my own personal accomplishments. I'm not inferior to Augustine, in any way, in fact, I am better. He was just famous, is all. He stuck to Christianity too much.
That wind swept field at bullards bay was cool. The waves there are wild and windy. Talked with a lady who said it is the wind in Bandon that takes getting used to. Some dildo tried to be charming to her and made that stupid remark........calling her a young lady. Obviously she was not young, but you're not going to make that comment to someone who you are not tacitly calling old. It was an insult, she laughed politely, but I could feel she was offended. She was a sweet woman.
The grass nodding their heads the sunlight on the beach reminded me to just be a blade of grass bent by the wind.
I believe the avatar has a deep love for humanity, that's why he came. An avatar is not a "who" he is every "who"
I don't care about science, I care about silence.
Being an angel is like writing music, you develop your own style, and very unique way of doing things . your time spent with nature , and your favorite places are very important in spiritual evolution.
