I've gotten in trouble a number of times for using the word ignorance, which sounds like an insult on someone's intelligence. No, you are plenty smart. It means you are denying all this healing energy of the divine. In its presence, your soul is released from all trouble, and all pain, and all confusion, all fear, all anger, all jealousy, all competition, all violence, .............all ignorance, all lack of love
All you are "supposed to do" is enjoy your life as a man. Somebody told you that this is selfish, but it's not. Fill yourself with mothers milk,.....the joy of life.......and your cup will overflow to everyone. It was mom who whispered "milk" to me in that statement. You might make fun of it, but you are not admitting that you are an afraid baby. Remember Jesus said you must be born again.
I am a little crab in a tide pool, scurrying around sideways in my moms watchful presence.
Ain't it funny how I talk and talk about God, but I've never seen him. I realize the cliche answer is because he is yourself. That's becoming obvious. But maybe it should be.....It is Itself. "Your" is possessive. God says "All is Me". He doesn't say All is Mine, Or does he? Nah...I don't think he has need for possession. Some scripture has sayings like "it all belongs to me, sayeth the lord" But in that case, he was just speaking in human terms.......to people who own things and wouldn't understand non possession. It is very important in eastern religion to rid yourself of the ideas. "I me mine" there is even a Beatles song, or Harrison song by that name after they visited the Maharishi.
In India, monks go to the top of a mountain, strip off all their clothes and pour a bucket of freezing water over themselves. See? What you perceive with your senses is illusion.

There had better be different realities available to humanity, because the one playing out looks pretty grim.

The octopus tree is where my favorite camp is at cape meares. I imagined native brothers congregating there and experiencing illumination
The pleiadeans, a race of extraterrestrials are here helping man out during this rare time on earth. They preface their communications with..."welcome, and once again, it is a pleasure to be here in your reality". Makes me remember that there is a lot more to life than this little time spent as a man. We are multidimensional beings.
